Pearson has a wealth of literacy materials available, including classic and contemporary, African and World literature. African literature is published in four genres - novel, poetry, drama and short story - from pre-literature through to senior secondary level. These are available in English as well as selected African languages. Promoting African literature further is a Pearson project called the African Writer Series, as well as the Junior Writer Series.
