CourseConnect Digital Electronics
Digital Electronics is an introductory course in digital electronics and includes analysis of both combinational logic and sequential logic. Topics include number systems, Boolean algebra, logic gates, medium-scale integrated logic, flip-flops, timers, counters, shift registers, memory devices, and an introduction to programmable logic devices (PLDs). The course includes using basic laboratory instruments to measure logic circuits and covers design entry.
CourseConnect Electronic Devices
Electronic Devices introduces electronic devices including transistors, operational amplifiers, and thyristors. The course includes using basic laboratory instruments to measure circuits and includes computer simulations. After completing the course, students should be able to analyze, construct, and test active transistor amplifier circuits, operational amplifiers, and thyristor circuits.
CourseConnect Fundamentals of Electric Circuits (DC/AC)
Fundamentals of Electric Circuits DC/AC introduces electrical laws and theorems used in electricity and electronics. The course is limited to DC/AC passive circuits and basic laboratory instruments, and includes computer simulations of circuits using Multisim. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze, construct, and test passive DC/AC circuits using the power supply, function generator, multimeter, and oscilloscope; and perform simulations with Multisim.
