Why does learning matter to you?
Learning is a part of everything I do daily. The accumulation of knowledge allows me to navigate through life, whether it be at an academic level, a social level or practical level. What I have learnt and will continue to learn, dictates my behaviour and defines my values, what could be more important than that? With everything around us constantly changing, learning allows me to adapt to that change and continue. It was quite difficult for me to say that without typing “Always Learning.”
What are you learning currently?
Well since March, we have been in and out of various levels of lockdown in Melbourne. So, myself and my partner decided to get a puppy! She has had a dog previously, but I have only ever owned cats, therefore I am currently learning how to be a dog dad. I’d like to think it is going quite well now but required some real adaptation initially on my part.
How are you always learning?
Instinctively my natural answer to this is “through travelling,” although that is not really valid at the moment. My curiosity and appetite to learn and experience new places and cultures has taken me to over 30 different countries. Australia is one of the most recent countries, and currently where I call home. Despite the lockdown, I continue to learn about my new home and add to the growing list of Australian landmarks I am going visit once I am allowed to.
