Well let's recall from our content video what a khaled's is out here anna clade is on a philo genetic tree, something that groups a common ancestor and all of its lineal descendants. So we've got four sample philo genetic trees with highlighted boxes. And we're looking for the one that shows that common ancestor with all its lineal descendants that makes up a clade. Gonna scroll down here so we can see all the choices labeled. So let's get a look through and check these out. We'll start with choice A. Here and we see that our box includes groups C. D. And E. So we're going to look for their common ancestor which we find right here. But when we trace up here we see that we've got groups A. And B. Also being lineal descendants of that common ancestor that are not included in the highlighted box. So Choice A. Does not include all the lineal descendants of the common ancestor. So choice A. Is not our answer. Let's move over here to image B. We've got E. F. And G. In our highlighted box while their common ancestor is all the way back here at the root of this tree. So we've got a whole bunch of groups here that are not included in the highlighted box that are descendants of this common ancestor since it includes the whole tree. So choice B definitely not our answer. Now we'll move on to choice see and we see we've got F. G. H. I. N. J. In the highlighted area here is their common ancestor. And when we trace up, we see that indeed all of the lineal descendants of this common ancestor are included in the highlighted box. So Choice C. Is an example of a clade. So that's going to be our answer. Just to be thorough. We look over at Choice D. We see in our box we have groups G. H. And I highlighted, we'll look for their common ancestor and it's right here. But when we trace up, we see that we've left out to lineal descendants, Group F. And group G. A. So again, this does not show all of the lineal descendants of common ancestor, so Choice D.
