This Pcr reaction is the polymerase chain reaction used to clone or to make many copies of a certain D. N. A sequence. So this PcR reaction is divided into certain steps. It is a step wise reaction. And all of these steps take place in something called a thermal cycler. So looking at answer choice a we can eliminate it as a thermal cycler is going to be a requirement of the PcR or the preliminary chain reaction process. So moving on we have the first step of PcR which is going to be the natural ation. This is when the thermal cycler increases the temperature to the naturally or to separate the DNA strands into single strands. Moving on we have step two which is a kneeling or just primer and healing. So here we're gonna add primers to the D. N. A strands. So these primers in option C. Are also going to be a requirement and we're going to cancel them out. And finally we have the last step which is extension. This is when we're going to actually create new D. N. A strands from the primers copying the template strands. And this is going to be done by this thermal resistance type of D. N. A. Preliminary is called tag preliminary.
