well everyone in this video being told that these two different molecules have different arrangements of atoms but the same chemical formula. So their members were being asked which molecule has a larger dipole moment. So we have our diaper arrow here. And I usually get confused as to how I'm supposed to position this type of arrow. So how I like to see it is at the there's two ends of an arrow on this side here, it would just focus on this portion. We can see that this kind of looks like a plus sign. And because it's a plus sign, this end will go towards the less electro negative atom. And of course the other side then we'll of course need to be our negative side or negative end. And this has to be pointing towards our more electro negative atom. So that's how I like to think of it as and it makes it a lot easier whenever we're drunk in these arrows, starting off with our trans 23 diploma butte one in. So between our roaming and our carbon roaming is more electro negative. So we have to have our arrow pointing towards that. So draw an arrow going kind of diagonally to the left and as well as going down towards our broom into the bottom right. So we can see if we put these two ends together that these were canceled out because they're growing as they seem direction just opposite sides. So this will cancel out meaning that we do not have a net dipole moment here and then for the 6 to 3 diploma beat one in Again, our bromine atom is more electro negative compared to our carbon. So we'll draw these arrows pointing down as so and we go ahead and put these two ends again together. We see that there's going to be a net dipole going down. So this in black is going to be our net dipole moment. And like we said, the molecule on the left here has no dipole moment because it cancels out like this. But for the cis summer we do have a net dipole moment. So the molecule with a larger die pool moment is the one on the right are sis.
