Hello everyone. So in this video we see that we have this diagram here. It's a snippet of a crystal lattice of KBR in a solid form. So we see here that we have two different circles, we have this red circle and we have this blue circle. The blue circle represents an ions and the red circles represents cat ions because typically our cat ions are going to be smaller than our n ions. So because can ions are attracted to an ions because of its positive negative charge, then whatever adam the ion is bonded to in this structure here, it's going to be an attractive interaction. So the problem is this too, account for our middle atom here and we see that this middle atom is connected to let's see 1234 and these are what they're directly connected to. So then if we have these four ions is connected to, then we will have four total attractive interactions. So this right here is going to be my final answer for this problem.
