We know that we have these hidden hydrogen atoms. So go ahead actually draw those in and we know that each corner contains a carbon so we can go ahead and see that all carbon atoms. So here here here and here are all surrounded by three electron groups. So if we just focus on this carbon here, I'll draw in a C. For carbon, we see that this carbon is connected to not only one hydrogen but also connected to two other carbons here and here. Right. So if we have those three then we do have these three electron groups. So we can say that all carbon has three atoms attached. We have three electron groups. This gives us an sp two hybridization with one. It's very draw this. Alright, this clear one p orbital. So then we have four carbons in this atom or in this molecule each having sp hybridization with one p orbital. So times one that gives us four pi electrons and we see here we have a two minus that means we have two extra electrons.
