So as you can see here they have an inverse relationship. So that means what happens to one, the opposite will happen to the other. And in the problem we're being asked, how does the rate constant change with increasing activation energy? So if our activation energy is increasing and we have an inverse relationship between the two variables, that means our rate constant is going to decrease. Okay.
