And we are asked to find what the velocity at the maximum height is. So at this point which I've denoted H, we need to find that velocity. Let's think about it This way. When the ball is traveling upward, the velocity is positive, and when it's traveling downward velocity is negative. So at some point you need to cross from positive numbers to negative numbers. And if you think about throwing a ball up at this height, the ball's going to pause momentarily. So when this cause happens at its maximum height, it's not moving for a split second, which means that its philosophy at its maximum height 0m/s. Or spotting to answer choice. C.
