Our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team is a central, global resource within Human Resources and is staffed by executives and advisors.
We want to have scalable, sustainable impact, so our team is a global network of Global Diversity & Inclusion Advocates, full-time employees who apply for and are selected to help implement our global D&I principles in their local businesses and offices.
In addition to our dedicated team, we expect every employee to be a D&I practitioner and help ensure that all colleagues are valued and included in our organizational work.
Our Diversity & Inclusion efforts are focused on three primary areas: our people, our culture, and our learners. We strive to embed D&I principles into all business processes and practices.

Employee Resource Groups
Pearson’s employee resource groups (ERGs) give employees opportunities for networking, increased engagement, professional development, and mentorship, and also to contribute to Pearson’s business goals.
ERGs consist of colleagues around the world who join Pearson’s efforts to embed diversity and inclusion into all aspects of our business. Every ERG has a clear mission, charter, and by-laws and is facilitated by our D&I team.
