As Efficacy & Research Manager, Veronica is responsible for implementing the Efficacy strategies for the Hispanoamerica Region. Upon joining Pearson in 2010, Verónica served as Editorial Pedagogical Consultant, Pedagogical Consultant and Market Research Manager for Latin America, Efficacy Manager for Latin America and then as Efficacy and Research Manager for Hispanoamérica.
Since 1999 Veronica has been author for Pearson in the areas of Vocational Orientation, Human Relationships and Ethics for High School, having more than 20 titles broadly used in Public and Private Education in Mexico and some other countries of Central America. Verónica served as Vocational Coordinator for Instituto Politécnico Nacional High Schools, leading a team responsible for creating a formal program of Vocational Education; she also served as a full-time teacher at Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Estado de México, teaching students and training teachers at High School. Veronica developed her own educational project and ran it during 14 years. Verónica has studies in a Master Educational Psychology at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México and she is graduated as psychologist and as pre-school teacher. She also have a post-graduate certificate in early education. Veronica has over 30 years of experience in education in Mexico and Latin America. She has worked at several levels of education with focus in early education, high school and college programs, designing and implementing educational programs for public and private institutions. Teacher training, curriculum development, educational research and pedagogical consultancy have been areas in which she has worked, driving groups to improve their results with learners.
