Reporting on Our Material Issues

We report on the issues that matter most to our business, our learners, and all of our stakeholders. We undertook a comprehensive materiality assessment in 2015 to understand the areas that are most important to our stakeholders and have the most impact on our business, following best practices outlined by the international sustainability reporting standard, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

Based on consultation and analysis of the areas of most concern to our stakeholders, we identified nine issues we believe are most material at this time.

  • Access
  • Affordability
  • 21st century skills
  • Economic empowerment
  • Data privacy and security
  • Security, health and safety
  • Corporate governance
  • GHG emissions and climate change.
