“Learning is all around us whether we know it or not.”
Why does learning matter to you?
One of my favorite quotes (from a dude from Facebook) is this: “Learn, grow, evolve, become.” There is an extrinsic reason that has to do with job, career, etc. We humans have intrinsic motivation - for example, to understand the nature of everything - universe, genetics, music, and to know how much wood a woodchuck chucks if a woodchuck could chuck wood. So, learning is all around us whether we know it or not.
What are you learning currently?
I am a fan of The Great Courses series - currently I am reading “Understanding Genetics - DNA, Genes and their Real-world Applications.” I am also learning to play the harmonica, but one thing I already learned is that I am tone deaf.
How are you always learning?
Audible while hiking, paperback (books) in bed, reading while waiting in line to get to the grocery store, running on treadmill, YouTube on the TV ... the opportunities are endless.
