Expedia UK and Rough Guides Join Forces Online

Expedia UK and Rough Guides, two of the biggest travel brand names in the UK, have joined forces it was announced today. Through a private label publishing agreement, Rough Guides, publishers of more than 100 critically acclaimed travel guides, will provide extensive editorial content to Expedia UK expedia.co.uk , Europe's number one travel website.

The new partnership goes live from 2 November 1999 on expedia.co.uk . The deal means that now independent-minded travelers searching for information on locations around the globe have easy access to the insider advice of Rough Guides while booking all their travel arrangements, from flights to hotels to car hire, at Expedia UK.

From the Al-Wad Road to Zaragoza and everything in between, Expedia users are only a couple of clicks away from access to more than 14,000 destinations, including points of interest, historic landmarks, museums, and "off the beaten track" escapes.
