We have a state of the art development and clinical manufacturing facility for the development of biologics in Liverpool.

Do you have to be qualified in a specific area or subject to work for the company?

All laboratory-based roles require demonstrable experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You may need to have completed a degree or apprenticeship in this area.

Some process development roles require a minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent in life sciences.

Production operator roles require hands-on processing experience within a biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical production or development environment.

To work in finance, procurement or human resources you will need a good working knowledge of financial systems and working practices.

What’s next for your business?

Oncology is an area of medicine that deals with the study and treatment of cancer. The 'next big thing' in our industry could be monoclonal antibodies. This means having the ability to make an antibody that will seek out and destroy the cancer cells in patients but will not destroy normal cells. In the future this is likely to become more cost effective because of the advances in science.
