Penguin scoops nine awards at the Australian Book Industry Awards
Penguin took home nine awards at the The Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIA), including Publisher of the Year for the second year running. The ABIAs celebrate the best Australian books, authors, booksellers and publishers from the past year.
Penguin's awards included:
Book of the Year: Younger Children

International Success Award: Penguin for Sonya Hartnett
Penguin was also named Publisher of the Year for the second year running, and won Marketing Campaign of the Year for the Popular Penguins campaign.
United Book Distributors won Distributor of the Year.
