What is Pearson Places?
Pearson Places is a gateway to digital learning for teachers and students across Australia and New Zealand. Students and educators can use Pearson Places to access their eBooks, digital resources and assessments.
How do I use Pearson Places?
You can use Pearson Places to access all your digital learning tools. You can access and allocate resources, monitor the progress of students, assign assessments and use complimentary teaching resources all from the one location. And Lightbook and Lightbook Starter users can create classes with class codes for students to join.
So if you have multiple eBooks, multiple classes, or you’re using a number of different online resources, you can use Pearson Places as a gateway to all of them.
How much does it cost?
Pearson Places itself is completely free of charge. Individual resources like eBooks or Pearson Lightbook are purchased separately, but you don’t need to purchase anything to access Pearson Places, or any of the complimentary resources on the site.
How do I create a Pearson Places account?
You can sign up at pearsonplaces.com.au. Select ‘sign up’ in the top right-hand corner. Follow the prompts and your account will be set up straight away. You’ll then be taken on a quick guided tour of the platform explaining where everything is, how to connect to your school and how to activate any digital products. You'll also be shown where to find all the complimentary resources on the site.
