Penguin imprint The Berkley Publishing Group Dominates The New York Times Paperback Fiction List for Week of November 19th
For the week of November 19th, the Berkley Publishing Group dominates The New York Times paperback fiction list, holding five of the fifteen allotted positions - an impressive 30% of the overall list. This week brought two debuts from Jove: Valley of Silence by Nora Roberts in the #1 slot, and Conspiracy Game by Christine Feehan, at #12. In addition, Nora Roberts' Dance of the Gods and Morrigan's Cross (Jove) both hold strong in their fifth and tenth weeks on the list, respectively. And, Predator by Patricia Cornwell, published by Berkley, still remains on the list in its sixth week, at #8.
The debut of Valley of Silence also marks the twelfth week in a row and counting that Penguin Group (USA) has held the #1 slot on the paperback fiction list - since September 3rd!
