Read for the Record

Read for the Record

On Thursday 8th October, Pearson partnered with Jumpstart's Read for the Record campaign to celebrate reading and set a new world record for the largest shared reading experience.

The Very Hungry CaterpillarThis year's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Over a million people read it at events across the US and Pearson Foundation provided copies of a special edition of the book to over 250 school districts across the country. Since 2006, Pearson has shared more than 300,000 copies of Read for the Record books with teachers, students, community organisations, and school districts.
