eTextbook Subscription News
Thank you for being a Pearson+ customer.
As we keep investing in Pearson+ to make it more valuable to you, we’re making some changes that you should know about.
Soon, we’ll stop selling the “Multi” eTextbook subscription option
Effective June 29, 2023 the Multi eTextbook subscription will no longer be available for purchase through Pearson+.
What if I have a Multi eTextbook subscription now?
If you buy a 4-month Multi eTextbook subscription before June 29, 2023, you’ll get your full four months of access – even if you redeem an access code after June 29, 2023.
What happens when my 4-month Multi eTextbook subscription ends?
Auto-renew won’t be an option, and your subscription will end.
Your titles will no longer appear in your account.
You can purchase a Single subscription for each eTextbook you need to access.
How do I purchase a Single eTextbook subscription?
Search for your new title to purchase a Single subscription to any Pearson+ eTextbook.
Starting on June 29, 2023, our price for a 4-month subscription will increase from $9.99 to $10.99 per month
Why are we worth an extra buck?
We’ve added 20% more titles since we launched the Pearson+ eTextbook subscription service. We’re adding audio and social features to many titles. We’re making our eReader more powerful – with advanced digital notetaking, and best-in-class mobile reading.
Look for more new features, more new titles -- more of what you’ve told us you want.
I have a Single eTextbook subscription right now. Will my price go up during my current 4-month or month-to-month subscription?
No, it won’t increase until your current 4-month eTextbook subscription ends, if you are in your initial 4-month term. If you renew by turning on auto-renew before the end of your initial 4-month term, we’ll charge the new price when your new subscription term starts. If your current eTextbook subscription already is auto-renewing, we’ll charge the new price at your next renewal. If you want to cancel instead of being charged the new price, make sure Auto-renew is turned off in the Manage Subscription section of My Account by 11:59 pm ET on the last day of the initial term (or renewal term). If you cancel, your access will expire at the end of your current billing cycle.
See your Pearson+ Subscriber Agreement, Terms of Use and Privacy Notice for complete terms.
We’ve improved Channels – and it’ll stay free to eTextbook subscribers until July 27, 2023.
Thank you for helping us beta test Channels – thousands of videos and practice problems to help you prepare for your homework and exams! Throughout our beta test, we’ve included the pre-release version with your eTextbook subscription, free of charge. On April 4, 2023 Channels was made available to purchase as a separate subscription.
But, for you, it’ll stay free until July 27, 2023 or the end of your current subscription term, whichever occurs later. If you choose to extend your eTextbook subscription after that, Channels will no longer be included and you will need to purchase a separate Channels subscription through Pearson+.
What if I want Channels after it’s no longer free?
You can subscribe to Channels separately through Pearson+.
