What is Pearson+
Pearson+ is our new eTextbook platform. The Pearson+ subscription service for students gives them flexible, affordable access to Pearson eTextbooks, course-specific video collections in Channels, and exclusive offers. Pearson+ provides enhanced eTextbook features, including an easy-to-use interface, offline access, enhanced search, flashcards, audiobooks, and so much more.
Exciting improvements for Spring 2023!
We’re delighted to announce that for Spring courses, when students purchase the Single Access option, the title they purchased will automatically populate on their library bookshelf.
This will simplify the registration process and reduce errors where students had previously missed this step.
How do campus stores sell Pearson+?
Pearson+ access codes are available on demand through campus stores via RedShelf or VitalSource using an API call to generate a code for each student purchase. Please note, Pearson+ is not available for bulk buys or through Oasis.
What are the access models?
There are two ways to purchase Pearson+
- A Pearson+ Single Access purchase gets the student access to one title and is $39.96 for four (4) months.
- A Pearson+ Multi Access purchase gets the student access to over 1,500 Pearson titles and is $59.96 for four (4) months.
How is Inclusive Access/Equitable Access impacted by Pearson+?
There is NO CHANGE to IA/EA. You will continue to use perpetual (lifetime) access eBooks for your IA/EA adoptions.
Does Pearson+ include Courseware (Revel, Mastering or MyLab)?
No. Pearson+ does not include access to MyLab, Mastering or Revel products. You’ll continue to purchase these as you currently do.
However, if students are using MyLab or Mastering with an integrated eTextbook, they will get access to the eTextbook via Pearson+ without having to do or pay anything extra. Pearson+ access is an integrated part of the MyLab and Mastering products and now include Pearson+ Channels with videos and practice questions organized by key course area.
