Pearson Professional Learning programs are CE-accredited through APA, AOTA, ASHA, and NASP, depending on the program and the audience. Each program lists the accrediting body, the number of credit hours, and audience eligibility on its enrollment page. If you don't see your credentialing body listed, talk to enrollment and we'll point you to a comparable program.

Can I earn CE credit on Pearson on-demand learning?

Yes. On-demand learning modules accredited by APA, AOTA, ASHA, or NASP issue CE credit on completion. You complete the module at your own pace, pass any required assessment, and receive your CE certificate — and a Credly digital badge for eligible programs — within the platform. Some programs also include post-course practice components for full credit.

A Credly digital badge is a verifiable digital credential you earn on completing an eligible Pearson training. Each badge encodes the program name, the skills earned, and the issuance date. You can post your badge to LinkedIn, add it to your email signature, or place it wherever your professional profile lives. Credly is the same badge platform used by Microsoft, IBM, and other employer-facing credentialing programs — so the verification standard is widely recognized.

What's the difference between Pearson training and third-party CE platforms?

Third-party CE platforms (PESI, ASHA, NASP, and others) offer broad clinical CE coverage, but they don't deliver instrument-specific fidelity training — because they didn't build the instruments. Pearson Professional Learning is delivered by clinicians, field experts, and assessment authors, so the training reflects the latest norming data, administration protocols, and clinical applications for those specific tests.
