Monica Berlis has taught English for many years at the British Council, both adults and teenagers at all levels, and is a teacher training and examiner for Cambridge ESOL exams. She has also taught at Greek high school and primary school.
Monica has worked as a publisher and editor on coursebooks, grammar books and software and is an author of a number of coursebooks, including as co-author with Heather Jones of Roadmap B1.
Jonathan Bygrave has worked in ELT since 1992 as a teacher, editor, publisher and author. In recent years he has been writing materials and exploring digital publishing.
He has written coursebooks for Total English, Upbeat, Live Beat, Real Life, Cutting Edge and now Roadmap B2.
Hugh Dellar is a teacher and teacher trainer with over twenty five years’ experience in the field.
He is the co-founder of Lexical Lab, which provides English language and teacher training, and has given teacher training and development sessions in more than 20 countries including Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Spain, Italy, Japan and Thailand. He has spoken on such topics including the nature of English as a lingua franca, the uses and abuses of corpora, approaches to teaching grammar and vocabulary, and many others.
Hugh is the co-author of a methodology book and a number of general English series with Andew Walkley, including Roadmap B1+.
Heather Jones graduated from Leeds University and trained as a teacher at the London Institute of Education. She has taught English in several countries, including the Germany, Russia, the UK and the USA. She has also worked as a senior editor and publisher, producing coursebooks for global markets.
Heather is of the author a number of primary, secondary, adult and test preparation books, and is co-author with Monica Berlis of Roadmap B1.
Andrew Walkley has 25 years experience as a teacher, trainer and materials writer. He has worked as a teacher mainly in Spain and the UK, and has delivered workshops and courses to teachers in 30 countries worldwide. Andrew is a director of Lexical Lab, which provides English language and teacher training.
Andrew is the co-author of a methodology book and a number of general English series with Hugh Dellar, including Roadmap B1+.
Lindsay Warwick is a teacher, trainer and materials writer. She has been teaching general English and exam preparation courses for over 20 years.
She is a CELTA trainer and has delivered teacher development courses in the UK and abroad, on topics such as formative assessment, train the trainer, using technology in the classroom and helping learners to prepare for exams.
Lindsay is co-author of Pearson’s new general English series Roadmap A2 and A2+, as well as several other books including Expert IELTS 6, Gold Preliminary B1 and Gold Experience B1 and B2+.
Damian Williams is an author, writer and teacher trainer based in the UK. He has worked in Russia, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, the UK, Argentina and Brazil. He has written several major books for Pearson and works as a Cambridge Delta tutor and examiner.
His current interests lie in exploiting the urban linguistic landscape as a language learning resource and developing skills through course materials.
Damian is the co-author of the general English series Roadmap A2 and A2+.
