Fiona Beddall has taught EFL to a variety of age groups in France, Spain and the UK, and has eighteen years’ experience as a writer and editor of teaching materials. She has written primary and secondary coursebooks, including Discovery Island and Cosmic (Pearson ELT). She is also the author of several graded readers, including Alexander the Great, A History of Britain and Stories of Survival.
Carolyn Barraclough is a qualified and experienced teacher and teacher trainer. Carolyn taught EFL in Greece and the UK for many years before moving into EFL publishing, working as an educational consultant and editor for over 15 years. She is the author of several successful coursebooks, including Top Secret and the BESA award-winning Activate! for Pearson, as well as a wide range of supplementary books such as Project Grammar (OUP) and Macmillan Children’s Picture Dictionary. Her special interests are motivating young teenagers and maximizing memorability—values reflected in Move It!.
Katherine Stannett has been an EFL teacher, editor and writer for over twenty years. She started her teaching career in Japan in 1990, working with students of all ages. She has edited many key EFL course and reference books including Grammar Time and Yazoo, and has recently co-written a course for Eastern Europe. She has also written a number of songs and raps to teach English.
Jayne Wildman is an experienced ELT teacher who has worked with students of all ages in Italy, Spain, France and in the UK. After a successful career as an editor, Jayne moved into authoring ELT books, initially creating materials for secondary students, then later writing for primary and adult classes. Her most recent publications include Discover English (Pearson Education), designed for upper primary students, and Distinction (Oxford University Press), written for upper secondary students. Jayne is resident in Barcelona, Spain, with her husband and two boys, Dexter and Conrad.
