Major companies in Japan are increasingly switching to “job-focused employment.1” As a result, there has been a shift from seniority-based hiring to ability-based hiring. Some new employees are now expected to be immediately effective. In the field, particular emphasis is placed on communication skills with those overseas. New employees may be expected to understand other parties, voice their own opinions, and clearly explain why something is not possible.
This training course is structured to teach the students the importance of cultural understanding in workplaces that interact with other cultures. Students will learn to communicate in a clear, logical manner and express their opinions in ways that improve efficiency and avoid misunderstandings.
