About the course
Step Up provides vocational learners with the skills to succeed in a competitive job market while developing their English language skills
Step Up offers two ways to learn: a self-study course or a self-study course combined with a teacher-led class. Learners develop English language skills through practice in listening, reading, and notetaking skills, pronunciation practice and employability skills practice.
Each Step Up level covers the same themes, only at different language levels. This unique approach means that Step Up is very suitable for classes with varying proficiency levels and for classes in which students’ study independently at their own level. The selected themes are universal and relevant to many professional fields.
Although the course emphasizes employability skills, Step Up also develops English language skills by providing vocabulary instruction and practice, listening, reading and notetaking skills, pronunciation practice and discussion strategies.
Step Up is now supported by Credly
