Crisis Christmas Card
This year Pearson is giving its Christmas card budget to Crisis, the UK's largest charity for the homeless. We're proud that the FT has also donated a double page to run a Crisis announcement detailing all the companies taking part in this year's Crisis Christmas Card Challenge.
Pearson has donated £20,000 and this year's challenge has raised £645,000 to support homeless people at Christmas. Crisis will open nine special centres around London over eight days, delivering 35,000 hot meals, providing medical check-ups for guests, encouragement from teachers on ways to further their education, advice on vocational goals from potential employers, and help from housing officers to give them the opportunity to find a permanent home.
