Integration expected to enrich students' online learning experience, save institutions time and money

The announcement was made at the 2009 EDUCAUSE annual meeting in Denver, one of the largest gatherings of education technology professionals in the world.
Pearson's planned integration with Oracle will improve the user experience for administrators, faculty, and students by automating the creation and management of users, enrollments, and courses from the PeopleSoft student information system into Pearson's products--independent of the learning management system used on campus. The integration will begin with Pearson's MyLabsPlus, the enhanced program level version of the powerful MyLabs tutorial and formative assessment products. Pearson's MyLabsPlus offers convenient administrator tools and dedicated support to allow departments to support their course and programs effectively and efficiently.
