The FT has launched its new app for the iPad, providing interactive access to a broad range of FT content including video, markets data, investment portfolios and news and analysis.

It has proved hugely successful so far, receiving 150,000 downloads in the first three weeks and winning a Design Award from Apple.

Features include: daily download to allow offline reading; a dedicated Markets Data section including macromaps highlighting markets across the world; and full access to view personal investment portfolios. The app is free until 31st July, thanks to sponsorship from luxury watchmaker Hublot.
