Five Pearson books shortlisted for The Business Book Awards 2018
LONDON: 30 January 2018: Pearson Business & FT Publishing, the UK publishing arm of Pearson, has had five books shortlisted for the inaugural Business Book Awards in the following categories:
- Leading the team: The Listening Leader by Emilio Galli Zugaro and Clementina Galli Zugaro (FT Publishing) – Discover the art of communicative leadership: How to really listen so you can win and hold the trust of your stakeholders.
- Thought leader: The Power of Purpose by John O’Brien and Andrew Cave (Pearson Business) – How can purpose provide clarity? How can it accelerate success? How can it build a long term sustainable business? The Power of Purpose is your secret ingredient.
- Self development: The Rules of People by Richard Templar (Pearson Business) – A personal code for getting the best from everyone.
- Self development: The Leader’s Guide to Presenting by Jeremy Cassell and Tom Bird (FT Publishing) - A highly practical guide to delivering engaging and influential presentations.
- Embracing change: Futureproof by Caleb Storkey and Minter Dial (FT Publishing) – Paints a complete picture of the major disruptive forces currently facing us - defining them, mapping them out and putting them into context.

The Business Book Awards celebrates the best in business book publishing and offers an effective means of inspiring excellence while providing industry-wide recognition to new and established authors writing on a multiplicity of subjects for a diverse readership.
