Sustainability reporting & policies
We report on our material issues and our contribution to the SDGs because they matter to our stakeholders. We seek to be as transparent as possible in order to earn trust, meet the needs of customers and learners, and share our goals for making our company and our world better.
Pearson’s 2018 Annual Report includes a summary of the issues covered in this report and, as required by 2013 amendments to the UK Companies Act, comprises a separate strategic report with disclosures on human rights, gender diversity, and greenhouse gas emissions.
Assurance
Our environmental data and participation in LBG - the global standard for measuring corporate community investment - are externally assured by Corporate Citizenship.
Policies
Our company policies, guidelines, and legal statements that we use to meet our sustainability commitments include supplier and customer terms, diversity and inclusion statements, and operational policy documentation.
