Pearson and The Unreasonable Group are leveraging the Project Literacy platform to support entrepreneurship and close the global literacy gap by 2030. The Unreasonable Group works with entrepreneurs to address major challenges such as poverty and social injustice, providing world-class mentors, funders, and partners to help grow their impact.
Project Literacy Lab, formed in 2016, is the world’s first international partnership focused on supporting rapid growth ventures that are positioned to close the global literacy gap by 2030. To date, the Project Literacy Lab has worked with 29 social entrepreneurs to help scale up their proven interventions across 120 countries with $121 million in combined revenue and financing. Collectively the Lab ventures reach over 18 million customers.
