Welcome to the latest issue of the VQ Bulletin and the last before the Q-TAG portal closes on Friday 18 June at 23:59.
Should you need any further support on using the portal, please refer to our User Guide (PDF) or video walk-through. We are confident everything you need to know about using the system can be found in these guides, which can also be accessed via our dedicated Awarding Results in 2021 webpage.
We know that you are working incredibly hard to complete activities for your Vocational Qualifications across many Awarding Organisations by 18 June, so we hope this edition will give you all the key information you need this week. Thank you for your continued support.
We are in direct contact with many centres to ensure that you are going to meet the 18 June deadline for qualifications that require you to submit a Q-TAG. This is because we want to ensure that all of your learners receive their results on time. We are grateful for your time, support and collaboration to make sure that this year is a success.
Given the volume of communications you will have received from us, and no doubt the other Awarding Organisations you work with over the last few months, we are going to change the format of how we communicate with you once the Q-TAG portal has closed on Friday. Instead of the Bulletin, we will be sending regular ‘status updates’ towards the end of each week until mid-July so that you are kept informed of how we are proceeding with the certification process. You can of course continue to contact us if you need any support or have any questions before the end of term.
While we know your focus this week is submitting your Q-TAGs, we want to extend an invitation to the BTEC Awards which will be held on Wednesday 7 July at 2pm. You’ll find a link to the RSVP in this week’s bulletin, and we would be thrilled to have you join us in celebrating the hard work of you and your learners this year.
As always, you are welcome to contact us with any queries or concerns, keep informed by following @teachBTEC, or access our FAQ page, which is updated frequently.
Our social media is monitored from 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday and we welcome, and will respond to, any suggestions or feedback you have for us. You can also review past bulletins if you’ve missed any or sign up to receive future updates (if you have not already done so).
Thanks as always for your ongoing support and collaboration.
