In this session, we'll discuss best practices for utilizing qualitative and quantitative data in the classroom. Learning to "read" data and data visuals is a skill with which not all students in our classrooms have previously collected. But, charts, graphs, figures, and maps are common tools in sociological teaching and research. We’ll explore how to effectively use graphs, figures, maps, and charts to engage students.
