Although President Donald Trump frequently finds himself embroiled in controversy and criticized for his policies on the COVID-19 pandemic to funding the US Post Office, his appointments to the federal judiciary are a point of unity and pride among Republicans. As of July 2020, President Trump had appointed 194 Article III federal judges; those appointees make up nearly 25% of all active federal judges. In this webinar, I’ll discuss the implications of these appointments, the potential for more, and the role they play in Trump’s reelection campaign.
