About the speakers

Rod Bristow
President, UK & Global Online Learning, Pearson
Since 2019, in addition to his role as president for Pearson UK, Rod has been leading our global online learning businesses in schools, higher education, and employer-based learning. He has worked in education, publishing, and assessment for more than 30 years in universities, schools, colleges, professional training, and learning technologies in the UK and internationally. Rod is a trustee for the Education and Employers Taskforce, a fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, governor for Harlow College and the BMAT multi-academy trust, and past president of the Publishers Association. He is also chair of the judging panel for the National Teaching Awards. Rod is a graduate of University College London.

David Levin
Entrepreneur in Residence, Arizona State University and Executive Producer, REMOTE conferences
David is the university entrepreneur in residence at Arizona State University and is the executive producer of the REMOTE conferences for connected faculty and teachers. He is also the chairman of SparkBeyond, an innovative AI based research engine. David has spent the last 20 years as the CEO of four global companies at the intersection of technology and media — the education company, McGraw-Hill, the events/media company, UBM plc, the mobile OS software company, Symbian Ltd., and the mobile technology hardware company, Psion plc. He received his bachelor’s degree from Oxford University and his Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.
