Proofreaders read manuscript backwards to make sure they look at things with fresh eyes and don’t see what they expect to see. While we don’t advocate this reading method for students, the concept of learning in a different sequence or order can help emphasize undervalued points and make learning fresh again. This concept of “Reverse Learning” is one of several methods and activities discussed in the presentation to provide a “change up” to traditional methods as well as support your traditional classroom activities.
