Guida verificata passo dopo passo1
Understand the structure of the renal corpuscle, which consists of the glomerulus and Bowman's capsule.
Recognize that the glomerulus is a network of capillaries where blood filtration begins in the kidney.
Identify the path of blood flow: Blood enters the glomerulus through the afferent arteriole.
After filtration in the glomerulus, blood exits through the efferent arteriole, not Bowman's capsule, which collects the filtrate.
The efferent arteriole then leads to the peritubular capillaries, which are involved in the reabsorption and secretion processes in the nephron.
