Guida verificata passo dopo passo1
Recall that the cell cycle consists of interphase (G1, S, G2 phases) and the mitotic phase (mitosis and cytokinesis).
Understand that cytokinesis is the process where the cytoplasm divides, resulting in two daughter cells.
Identify that cytokinesis typically begins after the chromosomes have been separated during mitosis.
Recognize that anaphase is the stage of mitosis when sister chromatids are pulled apart toward opposite poles of the cell.
Conclude that cytokinesis begins during anaphase of mitosis, as the cell starts to physically divide while chromosomes are moving apart.
