Guida verificata passo dopo passo1
Understand that the periodic table is a systematic arrangement of elements based on their atomic structure.
Recall that the atomic number of an element is the number of protons in its nucleus, which uniquely identifies each element.
Recognize that the modern periodic table arranges elements in order of increasing atomic number, not atomic mass or any other property.
Note that arranging by atomic number leads to a periodic pattern of chemical properties, which is the basis of the table's structure.
Conclude that the correct way elements are arranged in the periodic table is by increasing atomic number.
