Recall the formula to convert temperature from Fahrenheit (°F) to Celsius (°C): \(\displaystyle C = \frac{5}{9} (F - 32)\).
Substitute the given temperature in Fahrenheit into the formula: \(\displaystyle C = \frac{5}{9} (-15 - 32)\).
Calculate the expression inside the parentheses first: \(\displaystyle -15 - 32 = -47\).
Multiply the result by 5 and then divide by 9: \(\displaystyle C = \frac{5}{9} \times (-47)\).
Simplify the fraction and multiplication to find the temperature in Celsius.
