Guida verificata passo dopo passo1
Recall the basic structure of an atom, which consists of a nucleus and an electron cloud surrounding it.
Understand that protons and neutrons are subatomic particles that make up the nucleus of the atom.
Recognize that the nucleus is the dense central part of the atom where almost all the mass is concentrated.
Know that electrons are located outside the nucleus in regions called electron clouds or shells, not protons or neutrons.
Therefore, protons and neutrons are located together in the nucleus, not distributed throughout the atom or in the electron cloud.
