Understand that an Individual Plan of Service (IPS) meeting is a collaborative process in developmental psychology focused on the individual's needs.
Recognize that the IPS meeting aims to create a personalized plan tailored to the individual's developmental goals and support requirements.
Note that the meeting involves multiple stakeholders, such as the individual, family members, and professionals, working together.
Identify that the primary purpose is to develop specific, measurable goals and strategies to guide treatment and support effectively.
Distinguish this purpose from other options like group therapy, diagnosis, or therapist evaluation, which are not the main focus of an IPS meeting.
