Guida verificata passo dopo passo1
Understand that enveloped animal viruses have a lipid membrane derived from the host cell's membrane.
Recognize that these viruses need to exit the host cell without destroying it to maintain the integrity of their envelope.
Learn that the process of 'budding' allows the virus to acquire its envelope from the host cell's membrane.
During budding, the viral particles push against the host cell's membrane, wrapping themselves in a portion of it.
Finally, the virus pinches off from the host cell, surrounded by the host-derived lipid bilayer, completing the budding process.
