Welcome back, guys. So this video is sort of building off of the last question that we've just finished. So we have these six surfaces of this cube. We have the electric flux is and were asked which surfaces of the Cube does the electric field run parallel to now? What that means is that if you have a surface of the cube like this, which, which surfaces do the electric field sort of run over parallel to Okay, so what we can sort of visualize this is sort of it just by drawing the cube itself. So let me see if I could do this. We've got something like that. I'll see how bad this is gonna turn out. So I got the rectangular prison where doesn't have to be acute, necessarily something like that. Yeah, I think that's good enough. Okay, So, basically, if you have some electric field that's coming in this direction like that, then if the, um if the rectangular prism is somewhere sort of like, sort of turned on its axis and what happens is each one of these flux is is going to be either positive or negative positive meaning it's going in And then when the electric field comes out the other side, it's going to be positive. But the Onley cases where the electric flux is going to be zero is when you have the electric field lines and the angle of that you start with, you have the electric field lines and the normal of that surface be perpendicular. One way to see that is that the electric flux is equal to E a times the cosine of the angle. So there's only three possibilities for the electric flux equaling zero. That's if the electric field equals zero, which is not in this case, the area is equal to zero in which none of these are so. It has to be that the cosine of the angle is equal to 90. So if co sign of equal to 90 in other words, that these things are perpendicular to each other, then you're gonna have zero flux. So what happens is that these two surfaces, the top and the bottom right here, or any surface that has a zero flux means that the electric field runs parallel to that. So which two surfaces are those? That's gonna be four and three doesn't have doesn't necessarily be top or bottom. By the way, this is just sort of just an example. So the that means our answer is 53 and 54 These are the ones that the electric field runs parallel to. And that's our answer. Okay, This sort of mostly just like conceptual point.
