Understand that Dr. B.J. Fogg's behavior model emphasizes simplicity and gradual change as key to habit formation.
Recognize that the model suggests starting with a very small and easy-to-do behavior to build momentum and reduce resistance.
Identify that setting ambitious goals or eliminating distractions, while helpful, are not the initial step according to Fogg's approach.
Note that rewarding yourself is a useful reinforcement strategy but comes after establishing the initial behavior.
Conclude that the first step in turning a behavior into a habit is to start with a tiny, simple behavior that is easy to perform consistently.
