From the following observed chemical equation, the chemical equation reads that we have two moles of K potassium in solid form reacting with two moles of water, H 20 in liquid form to produce two moles of K O H potassium hydroxide, which is Aquarius or soluble and H sub two for hydrogen gas. So for our reactant, we have solid potassium represented by its chemical symbol as K and we have our solid potassium which we have two moles of to be specific reacting with two moles of water represented by its chemical symbol or rather chemical formula H 20 and it's given in liquid form. And as far as our products after our reaction arrow, we have our product potassium hydroxide given by its formula K O H and were given the symbol A Q and parentheses which tells us that potassium hydroxide is soluble in water. So it's Aquarius and we have two moles of K O H produced. Our second product is going to be our di atomic gas hydrogen given by its chemical formula H sub two. And again, it's in its gaseous state. So it gets the simple G in parentheses. So to fill in our physical state for hydrogen, we would say gaseous hydrogen. For R K O H, we have Aquarius potassium hydroxide. And then going back to our reacting side, we have liquid water. And so our final answers are going to be our reactant. We would highlight K for potassium, we can highlight that it's solid. We have H20 for water in its liquid form. And then on our product side, we have our K O H for potassium hydroxide, which is Aquarius and hydrogen in gaseous form. And so everything highlighted in yellow represents our reactant and products along with their physical states from our observed chemical equation.
