Then, construct the confidence interval for the difference in means (\(\mu_1 - \mu_2\)) using the formula: \[\left( (\bar{x}_1 - \bar{x}_2) - t^* \times SE, \quad (\bar{x}_1 - \bar{x}_2) + t^* \times SE \right)\]
