Joints of the Upper Limb
Joints, also known as articulations, are connections between bones that allow for movement and provide stability. The hand contains several important joints:
Carpometacarpal Joint: Between the carpal and metacarpal bones.
Metacarpophalangeal Joint: Between the metacarpal and phalangeal bones.
